Position Overview:
As an Internet Site Designer at Enolight, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital landscape of our products and platforms. We are looking for a full-time permanent candidate who not only possesses expertise in UI/UX design but also brings a unique blend of skills with a foundation in industrial design. This disclaimer combination is vital for integrating seamlessly with manufacturing processes and ensuring that our designs align with both user needs and production requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the initiation of UI/UX design for mobile apps, websites, and email campaigns.
• Elevate the user experience and functionality of the corporate website.
• Devise frameworks, prototypes, and collect stakeholder insights to hone designs.
• Supervise the digital platforms including product database and website, shaping catalogs and spec sheets, illustrations, and narratives.
• Generate diverse content, including technical drawings, spec sheets and 2D/3D illustrations, consistently gathering insights to refine products and platforms.
• Comprehend, integrate, and harmonize content for online platforms including ordering codes, lighting and zone schedules, photometrics, and testing reports (e.g., LM80, LM79, TM21).
• Innovate an automated data entry privacy system for website integration, adept at maintaining up-to-date product data, automating design plans and ensuring error prevention.
• Amplify UI/UX design through extensive market research, competitor analysis, and a thorough UX overhaul for the system.
• Uphold a uniform visual identity across digital assets, encompassing technical drawings and graphics, to fortify the brand image.
• Design technical labels and packaging materials for lighting products and components.
• Embed a user-centric ethos in designs, leveraging feedback and insights for perpetual refinement of the user experience.
• Engage in seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring transparent communication and integration of stakeholder insights into design decisions.
Requirements:
• Possess a university degree from a recognized institution in a design-related field, with a specialization in Web or industrial design.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Product Campaign Manager and Internet Site Designer specialized in UI/UX design.
• Proficient in utilizing Figma, Adobe XD, and Adobe Creative Suites to create comprehensive wireframes, prototypes, and visually appealing designs.
• Familiar with AGi32 software and able to work with IES files.
• Showcase strong proficiency in Photoshop or Illustrator, generating detailed technical drawings and visually captivating graphics essential for product development.
• Exhibit a robust understanding of UI/UX design principles, usability, and user research methodologies to craft intuitive and user-friendly digital interfaces.
• Quickly creating interactive prototypes, allowing for rapid testing and iteration of design concepts.
• Bring deep insights and practical experience in Research Analysis and Usability Testing, contributing to the refinement of design strategies.
• Apply strong analytical skills for the identification and resolution of complex design challenges through innovative and effective solutions.
• Communicate ideas effectively with clear and circadian communication, fostering seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams, and efficiently gathering feedback.
• Demonstrate adaptability in navigating evolving project requirements and showcase creativity in generating fresh ideas to enhance user experiences.
• Cultural awareness and the ability to design interfaces that resonate with diverse global audiences, considering cultural nuances and preferences.
• Possess experience and familiarities with the modern lighting products and methods is an asset.
• Showcase skill in photography, capable of capturing high-quality photos for marketing and promotional materials is an asset.
• Familiarity with lighting production and installation processes is an asset.
Job Details:
• Position Type: Full-time
• Hours per Week: 35 hrs/week, Monday to Friday
• Work Environment: In-office is required
• Location: Markham, Ontario
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel to site locations in Ontario if required
• Salary: $68,000 per year
• Starting date: As soon as possible
